Hey, Mom,

Sorry to hear you're in a 'valley' right now. I do understand - in my own fashion. In our own troubles, we do see the reflection of our friends'.

I just realized there are three people in my life I regularly call "Mom". My own mother, my wonderful, blessed, adored mother-in-law, and you. Heck, I went on and started calling you "Mom" (instead of "Brian's Mom") terrible early on.

I hope you forgive me for that, and I hope you know that it's because you are such a real person in my life. Hell, sometimes I find myself thinking that I want to volunteer to take a driving shift when you have to go North for a test. Then I remember that in so-called "real life", we're a continent apart.

But I'm here, Mom. Can't do much, but I'm here.

I've been wondering how you are doing, but figured since you hadn't written in a bit you weren't up to doing so. I almost asked Lis about you, but hate to pry, and hate to ask her, as if you aren't a real person or something.

I do think of you often, and always send my thoughts and prayers and energy to you.

Hold on, hon, things will take a better turn soon, I'm SURE of it!

By the way, I have wanted to congratulate you on the raising of such wonderful, accompolished children, who are also wonderful loving human beings. Your son Brian, who showed his love by writing your story, Nurse Sis, who sounds like she's a great medical body guard, and Lis, who is an intelligent and interesting woman with a great future. You done good.

Put in a good tape, listen to some music, do some visualization, and feel the love of all the people who read "Mom", "KidSis" and "Recovery".

We're with y ou.
Lynne

Hi Mom -

Please know, Dear Mom, there are prayers galore being bestowed upon you and you are in the hearts of many. I know those valleys can be tough, yet always keep a ray of hope and remember, this is only temporary. I send you much love.

Your friend north of Santa Rosa

Hi mom,

I'm a long time fan and first first time poster just dropping you a line wishing you the best. Hope the kids will protect you from further contact with hack doctors so that you'll have a fighting chance at life again. Bye for now. Get better soon.
